DESCRIPTION

  • Playstation Now is a cloud gaming subscription-based gaming service by Sony Interactive Entertainment launched in open beta in the United States and Canada on July 31, 2014.
  • The service allows access to select games published by Sony and some partners.
  • Playstation Now subscription includes PS3 titles and also some PS4 titles.
     

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

  • The games are played in streaming and can be accessed as long the users continue their membership.
  • If membership is suspended, access to the service is restricted, but all progress and game saves are retained.
  • There are two ways to stream games in PlayStation Now, either as a subscription based service, or users can rent games individually.
  • Usually available to rent in one of four time-frames: 4-hour, 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day.
